SEPTEMBER 26TH CANCER BENEFIT FOR DAVID GOTAY
Dear friends,
I would like to focus this newsletter on a very special event coming up in New York City. As many of you know, one of my closest friends and colleagues, David Gotay (cellist from Metro Strings and Sweet Plantain) has been diagnosed with Stage IV Kidney Cancer, which has spread to his brain, chest, and bones. He is fighting for his life. We are organizing a fundraiser to help David and his family pay for his medical expenses and living expenses. If you are in New York on that date, please join us and help support David. The evening will feature 5 incredible bands, all of whom have a personal connection with Dave.
